Tournament & Bowling Data

When you register for a tournament or create one as a director, we store tournament details, registration information, bowling scores, averages, lane assignments, side game entries, and related data you provide.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics to understand how the platform is used and to improve the experience. This may include pages visited, features used, device type, and browser information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Tournament management: To facilitate tournament registration, scoring, standings, and communication between directors and bowlers.
• Authentication: To verify your identity and manage your account across ABT and our companion iOS app.

• Tournament directors: When you register for a tournament, the director can see your registration details (name, email, squad selection, scores).
• Public scoreboards: Bowling scores and standings are visible to anyone viewing the tournament scoreboard.
• Service providers: We use third-party services for authentication, analytics, email delivery, and hosting. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. Our analytics provider may set additional cookies to understand usage patterns. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. iOS App

Advanced Bowling Tournaments shares an authentication system with the Advanced Bowling Tracker iOS app. If you use the same login credentials, your account and tournament history are accessible in both platforms. The iOS app has its own privacy policy available in the App Store.

8. Children's Privacy

ABT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
