For Bowlers
How do I register for a tournament?+
Find the tournament on ABT and click Register. You'll create an account (or sign in), pick your squad, and optionally add side games. You'll see a confirmation with payment details from the tournament director.
Do I need an account to view tournaments?+
No. You can browse tournaments, view details, and check scores without an account. You only need to sign in when you want to register for an event.
How do I check live scores and standings?+
Every tournament has a scoreboard page. You can get there from the tournament detail page — no login required. Scores update in real time as the director enters them.
Can I edit or cancel my registration?+
Yes. Go to My Events from the menu to view your registrations. You can update your details or cancel before the tournament begins. For questions about refunds, contact the tournament director directly.
What is Advanced Bowling Tracker?+
Advanced Bowling Tracker is our iOS app for tracking your bowling practice and league sessions. Your ABT account works in both places — sign in with the same credentials and your tournament history carries over.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?+
On the sign-in page, click the password reset link. You'll receive an email with instructions. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use that option to sign in instead.
For Tournament Directors
How do I create a tournament?+
Sign up as a director and use the setup wizard from your dashboard. You'll define the format, squads, entry fees, side games, and prizes in one guided flow. Once published, bowlers can find and register for your event.
What does it cost to use ABT?+
ABT is free to use. You can create tournaments, manage registrations, and run live scoring at no charge.
How does live scoring work?+
On event day, go to the Scores tab in your tournament dashboard. Enter scores by bowler for each game. The leaderboard updates in real time — bowlers and spectators can follow along from any device.
Can my staff help run the tournament?+
Yes. You can invite staff members and assign them permissions — check-in, score entry, side game management, and more. They get their own staff dashboard.
What if I lose internet during the event?+
ABT works offline. If your connection drops, you can keep entering scores. Changes sync automatically when connectivity returns.
How do bowlers pay their entry fees?+
You set the payment instructions during tournament setup (e.g., Venmo, cash at the door, Zelle). ABT shows these instructions to bowlers when they register. ABT does not process payments directly.
Can I manage lane assignments?+
Yes. The Lanes tab in your tournament dashboard lets you assign bowlers to lanes, set up lane rotations, and manage blocks.
