CAPTAINS' RESPONSIBILITY ALL BOWLERS MUST CHECK IN 30 MINUTES BEFORE BOWLING TIME TOURNAMENT RULES: Rules and regulations of the USBC, will govern the staging of this tournament All participants are required to be a member in good standing of the USBC and to have in their possession a current USBC membership card. Those participants without USBC membership cards for the current season will be required to purchase an unattached membership. Prizes in the Team, Doubles, Singles and 6 Game combined event will be determined on a handicap basis. All Events will have scratch and handicap divisions. Handicap is 75% of 220 Scratch. Use highest USBC sanctioned league average of at least 21 games or more for the 2024-2025 Season, summer league averages are included. Those without will be accepted on the basis of their highest USBC certified league average of at least 21 games or more as of January 1, 2026. All others bowl scratch. (SPORT league averages MUST be adjusted according to USBC Rule 205) If an individual's average is 10 pins or more over their last season's average by January 1, 2026 with a minimum of 21 games, they must report and use it. Handicap will be computed from a minimum average-Team- 750, Doubles-300 and Singles-150. It shall be each bowler's responsibility to verify the accuracy of their average, whether originally submitted by the bowler, the team captain or others. Failure to use the proper average or make a correction prior to completion of the first game of a series shall disqualify score if submitted average is lower than actual average or base prize winnings on submitted average if it is higher. All averages must be certified by either your City Association Secretary or your association's 2024-2025 final average book. USBC Rule 319a-b-c-d-e applies to all bowlers when entering a USBC handicap or classified tournament. Failure to comply shall cause forfeiture of all entry fees, scores and prize money, if their average is higher than the one submitted on entry form. There will be at least one cash prize awarded for each eight entries in Team, Doubles, and Singles. There will be one cash prize awarded for cach twenty entries in the All Events Hdcp and Scratch. There will be at least one cash prize awarded for each ten entries in 6 Game Combine Hdcp. To be eligible for a cash prize in the scratch and/or handicap all events (optional) an entry fee of $5.00 must accompany entry. To be eligible for a cash prize in the handicap 6 Game Combine event (optional) an entry fee of $10.00 must accompany entry. In the event of ties, the prize money for the positions affected will be equally divided. In the event of a first place tie, the above procedure will be followed. NO CHANGE IN TEAM OR DOUBLES EVENT WILL BE ALLOWED UNLESS SUBSTITUTION IS INVOLVED, substitute bowler will be placed in the missing bowler's original position in the submitted line up. CHANGES MUST BE MADE ONE HOUR BEFORE SCHEDULED TIME TO BOWL. NO SUBSTITUTIONS ARE ALLOWED ONCE PLAY HAS STARTED. No more than three players may bowl on the same team more than once. Whether it places or not. Singles and Doubles can be bowled only one time. Bowlers must enter both Doubles event and Singles if entered in either. 16. 17. Copies of score sheets will be available as soon as they have been checked into the Secretary's office. Original score sheets are official and any obvious errors are subject to change and correction by the Secretary. All protest and corrections must be made before payoff. Any bowler or team who arrives after a game has started will be permitted to bowl, but they must start to bowl in the frame then being bowled and no score will be given for the frames missed.
